Wednesday, June 19th -- We got up early and headed for a grouping of 4 waterfalls on a back road near the very small town of Franklin which was a little ways south of where we were. The first part of the drive was fine, but then we headed uphill and the road got really narrow, and the drop off got dropier. LOL.
We pulled off the road and took the picture of the first waterfall, Cullasaja Falls, then got back in the truck, all very conscious of how dizzying it felt to be in that particular area.
We decided not to try to find the other 3 waterfalls, which were further down the road. But we did have to go up the road just a little further until we were able to find a spot to turn around and go back down. This time we were on the rocky edge part, and had to be very careful not to hit the rocks, or the people going the other way, on the very narrow roads.

After a very nice walk, we searched for places to visit in the nearby town and found the Scottish Tartans Museum. That sounded really interesting, so we went to take a look. The museum was pretty cool, but what I found even more awesome was that they had family histories and swatches of tartans for all the clans and older families of Scotland.
When we got back to the campground and I took General for his evening walk, we saw one of the residents of the campground sitting under the pavilion playing the guitar. So we decided to listen in for awhile as he played some awesome bluegrass tunes, and we had a great time!
Thursday, June 20th - We got a late start leaving home because it was raining, and we couldn't figure out what we wanted to do. We ended up going down to Cherokee and buying some t-shirts to send home to the family. Then we got some awesome New York style pizza from Wise Guyz Grill. Then we took General to the Mountain Farm Museum to walk the River Trail... again. LOL. I know it probably sounds silly, but he really loves it there.
