Tuesday, August 20th -- General got his water time first thing in the morning! LOL. 

Monday, August 19th -- The owner of the campground recommended this site to us, which is located in Palms Book State park near Manistique MI. It was about an hour drive from our campground, but really sounded like something we would like to see.

Sunday, August 18th -- Our next travel day takes us to Escanaba MI. We took US Hwy 2 the whole way there, and had wonderful views of Lake Michigan in many spots.

Saturday, August 17th -- We had been seeing the signs ever since we crossed the bridge into the Upper Peninsula. What in the world was a Pastie? We just had to find out.

Thursday, August 15th -- Determined to be more prepared this time, we decided to leave General at home for this excursion. And since it would be a long day, we hired a sitter to come and feed him and take him for his evening walk. The sitter was the daughter of the camp host, so we figured we couldn't go wrong.
