Friday, October 4th -- There was really only one thing we wanted to see while in Lamar, CO -- Bent's Old Fort. 

Thursday, October 3rd -- It was our intention to go east to St Louis and start southwest on Route 66. So we started south, once again. And would then start heading east. Our first stop was Lamar, CO.

Wednesday, October 2nd -- We just loved it so much there, that we had to go back. It is beautiful and beyond words!

Tuesday, October 1st -- We headed straight to Garden of the Gods! No passing GO, no collecting $200!! LOL. 

Monday, September 30th -- We woke up in the morning to find that the snow and low temperatures had followed us, and the place we were currently in would be getting snow that evening. So we decided that even though we had paid for two days, we would pack up and keep heading south.
