Friday, September 27th -- We had stayed in town longer because another camper had told us about the Buffalo Roundup that was going on today. But when we woke up to very wet and very cold weather, we decided that we would rather not go out in that, and stayed in most of the day! 

Thursday, September 26th -- When we were leaving Deadwood yesterday, we found that Wild Bill Hickok has not been shot in the Saloon #10 that we saw the show in. There was actually another Saloon, called the Wild Bill Saloon, down the street that was the actual location of the shooting. So, feeling that we had left something behind, we decided to go back to Deadwood for another day.

Wednesday, September 25th -- Even though it was an hour drive from the campground, we decided we needed to go to Deadwood, and we are sure glad we made the trip!!

Tuesday, September 24th -- We were very anxious to experience the Eye of the Needle. But we had no desire for the white knuckle experience of driving the Needle HIghway. 

Monday, September 23rd -- The Crazy Horse Monument is actually right next to the campground, so we decided to run down there really quick and take a look!
