Thursday, September 26th -- When we were leaving Deadwood yesterday, we found that Wild Bill Hickok has not been shot in the Saloon #10 that we saw the show in. There was actually another Saloon, called the Wild Bill Saloon, down the street that was the actual location of the shooting. So, feeling that we had left something behind, we decided to go back to Deadwood for another day.
Just outside of town, on the road that goes to Lead, SD there is a huge waterfall right on the side of the road with a pull off area. So we stopped to take a look at that on our way into town.
We visited the Days of '76 Museum, which is on the north side of town. It has some really good local information and artifacts.

They have a room set up downstairs as an exhibit of the place where Wild Bill Hickok was actually shot!

Deadwood was really an awesome place! And we highly recommend it!!
Back at the campground that evening, we saw this front coming in! Pretty dramatic!
