Bad Weather!

Friday, September 27th -- We had stayed in town longer because another camper had told us about the Buffalo Roundup that was going on today. But when we woke up to very wet and very cold weather, we decided that we would rather not go out in that, and stayed in most of the day! 

When we realized we were burning thru propane like crazy to keep the heater running, our brains kicked in and we went out and bought an electric space heater!

Saturday, September 28th -- Another rainy and very cold day, but we had gotten another tip from a local that we should really check out the Purple Pie Place in downtown Custer. And when it comes to food, not even bad weather can keep us away!! LOL.

There was quite a crowd at the Purple Pie Place, but we were very blessed to have gotten some of the very last slices they had available for the day! We got apple, black berry, and rhubarb pies. YUM! Highly recommended!

Sunday, September 29th -- When we heard from some more locals that they were expecting a snow storm on Tuesday, we decided it was really time for us to get out of there. So we hooked up on Sunday to head south! And this was our scenery as we left town!
