When we got back down the hill, we turned toward the Margarette Falls. Got to the parking lot just fine and headed up the path, but my foot started bothering me too much so Ed continued up the hill with General. On my way back to the truck, I saw 2 bear poopies and started to worry about Ed's safety. He got back to the truck about 45 minutes later, and said he wasn't able to make it to the waterfall because the trail got too steep and rugged and he didn't feel safe hiking it with General. But he did find a creek for General to play in.
