Wednesday, July 3rd -- Today was salon day, but after that we took off once again for the Davey Crockett Birthplace State Park and did a complete tour of the property. The park is free to wander around, but the main building is locked so you can't go in, although there is a slot in the logs so you can see very clearly what is inside, and it is fully furnished with period correct things.
They also have sheep, pigs, chickens and turkeys, and a donkey, as well as some herb/kitchen gardens and crop gardens. Very interesting to tour, and very close to the river if you wanted to spend some time fishing. LOL.
There is a campground on this State Park property, and it looked pretty nice. But it doesn't have full hookups (only electric and water, with a dump station) and was more expensive than the Lazy Llama Campground which did have full hookups.

After our tour, we had supper at Applebee's on the way into town to look around for a couple of minutes to see if there was anything we wanted to check out further.
