Friday, November 22, 2019 (continued) -- After our tour of Miss Hattie's, we decided to take General for a walk in San Angelo City Park on the River Walk next to the Concho River!
This park is very long, and covers quite an area of riverfront, with tons of parking in various places to access it. We parked near Concho Ave & Magdalen St. Near where we parked, we saw two statues, along with a billboard displaying what they plan to do with this park area.
There were several great water features throughout the park!

Here is a Great Blue Heron enjoying this park too!
We walked about 3/4 mile, then turned around and went back to the truck. The park actually continued on for quite a ways, but we were hungry! For lunch, we went to the Twisted Root Burger Company. The tabletops were awesome!

The park on the waterfront is very cozy! We love to walk there with children!
