June 28th - We got a late start again today. Didn't leave the camper until around 11am. But we decided to leave General at home (and felt extremely guilty about it all day long!), drove to the Welcome Center, and took the trolley into downtown Gatlinburg.

We visited Cooter's place, which was a very small Dukes of Hazard museum, but free and still worth taking a look.
Then we had a great time walking around. Found a place called "The Village" which was literally a small village of shops and snack places set back behind the rest of the stores on the strip. It was really a pretty awesome place! We got a t-shirt, and some ice cream, and really enjoyed looking in the shops!
We got back home around 6:30, determined to spend quality time with General for the remainder of the evening!
