Monday, September 16th -- We got going at the normal time (10:00-ish AM) and headed straight for the dirt road section of the park (Sagecreek Rim Road) looking for the animals.

Sunday, September 15th -- We got both up early, before sunrise, and headed out to get some pics, knowing that we had to be back home within 2 hours to take care of General's morning routine.

Saturday, September 14th -- Ed got up very early and took off to get some sunrise photos! I stayed home with General so that his morning routine wouldn't be altered. 

Friday, September 13th -- We headed from Pierre SD to the Badlands, to our campground in Interior SD. We decided to come in the back way because the road from I90 south to Interior just didn't look good to us. But, as it turns out, there were trade offs in both directions. Coming in on the secondary highways, we ran into a major road construction zone that wasn't really fit to be hauling a trailer thru. And then as we got closer to the Badlands, the road got very bumpy. The road coming in from the north from I90 also had some very bumpy roads and sharp turns and grades. So neither route was all that great. But the scenery on the route we took was fantastic!

Wednesday, September 11th -- When we woke up, we realized our baby boy was ill, with bloody diarrhea. Although we could tell he wasn't feeling well, he wasn't bad off, because he still ate his food and wanted to play.
