Wednesday, September 11th -- When we woke up, we realized our baby boy was ill, with bloody diarrhea. Although we could tell he wasn't feeling well, he wasn't bad off, because he still ate his food and wanted to play.
So we found a vet on Google that had really good ratings, and called for an appointment. They were able to get him in in just a couple of hours, so we ran over there. They determined that he had drank some standing water and probably had giardia. So they gave him some antibiotics and probiotics, and we headed back home.
We had to cross the Missouri River to get to the vet, and we found out then that the time zone changes at that point as well. The vet's office told us they operated under Central Time, and not Mountain Time.

Later in the afternoon, Ed decided to go out exploring and taking pictures, while I stayed home with General to make sure he was ok. Ed found these awesome statues downtown, and found they are representative of South Dakota Governors. There are several of them, and they are a pretty awesome tribute to some great men!
Ed also found Pierre's first school, preserved in a park near the Missouri River bridge.
The next morning, we found General feeling much better, and we started packing up to move to our next location.
