Tuesday, August 13th -- This travel day takes us to St Ignace MI! And it was an awesome trip! We took US Hwy 131 almost all the way up to the bridge that crosses over to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, aka "The U P".
The Mackinac Bridge (aka Big Mack), built in 1957, is the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the western hemisphere, and quite a sight to see!

St Ignace is a very cute town in itself, with small shops and cute waterfront parks.
But the main attraction in this area has always been Mackinac Island (pronounced Mackinaw). And we will be going there tomorrow!
