Lake Charles Historic Homes!

Thursday, November 7, 2019 -- We spent some time today driving around the Lake Charles Historic District looking at some of the awesome Historic Homes! Alot of plantation style homes, but also alot of Craftsmen Style homes as well!

We also drove down Shell Beach Drive, which is where most of the luxury homes are located!

These are all waterfront properties, with the lake being right across the street. And some of the boathouses are pretty nice too!

We had lunch at Gatti's Pizza, which is similar to Chuckie Cheese, in that it has a play area for children, along with some pinball machines and old video game machines. The pizza was awesome! It had a very unique flavor!

Later in the afternoon, I took General to Misha's Pets & Self Serve Dog Wash to give him a bath. What a cool setup! It made it very easy to wash him, without bending over and having to hold him in one spot! She provided everything - warm water, shampoo and conditioner, blow dryer, doggie hair brush and towels! And it was only $15! General seemed very happy too! Wish there were more self serve dog washes across the country!

On the way home, I stopped by Steamboat Bill's again to grab us some more Gumbo and Etouffee! YUM! We can't get enough of this stuff!
