Heading East!

Thursday, October 3rd -- It was our intention to go east to St Louis and start southwest on Route 66. So we started south, once again. And would then start heading east. Our first stop was Lamar, CO.

It wasn't long before the Rocky Mountains were behind us.

We drove right thru Pueblo, CO. Do you remember all those old mail order ads that said to mail your money to Pueblo, CO? LOL. They have some pretty awesome bridges there!

We were soon back in flat prairie lands!

What an awesome sunset at our campground!
