On Thursday, June 6th, we decided to take General to nearby Lake Julian Park, which also happened to have lots of geese and ducks. General had a great time walking around, and I had fun feeding the ducks. I had never done that before. LOL. They had vending machines available, where you could put in a quarter and get a handful of duck food. Pretty awesome!
After that, we took off for Looking Glass Falls, which we knew from a previous visit to Asheville was a very easy waterfall to get to! LOL.

After that, we were heading back towards the campground when Ed spotted a sign for the Historic Johnson Farm, so we turned and went to check that out. They only did one tour per day, so we weren't able to go inside, but still an awesome place!
General was allowed to walk around with us, and had an amazing experience with some donkeys on the property! I think he actually wanted to play with them! LOL.

When we left the farm, heading back toward the campground, Ed once again spotted a sign, this time for Bold Rock Apple Cider, so we decided to check that out. What a neat place! A bottling plant, with a gift shop and bar inside offering live music most evenings. They also had a food truck outside and several picnic tables and umbrella tables.
We got a couple of burgers and sat down to enjoy the scenery. What an awesome place, and in the middle of nowhere!
