Tuesday, July 2nd -- Since I had damaged my foot on the trail at the Bud Ogle Homestead on Sunday, Ed decided to use this time to do laundry so I could rest my foot. He went to the local laundromat, Old Stage Wash House, as recommended by the campground owner and camp host, and had a great time, since there were a couple of ladies there who insisted on helping him, and ended up doing most of the work! LOL.

Monday, July 1st -- Brings us to another travel day. Preparations went very smoothly, and although we had been fretting on how we would get our camper OUT of the site, since we had pulled into it, it ended up not being a big deal as Ed backed it out of the site and into the huge yard right across the street.
Sunday, June 30th -- We left early and headed for the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, just slightly south of Gatlinburg and inside the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. It is a 5.5 mile one-lane road that meanders thru the woods, and has the remains of 4 old homesteads from the 19th century, and a really awesome waterfall, all right next to the road, so no hiking required.
June 29th -- Today we decided to go out for breakfast, and ate at Grandmother's Kitchen, near the campground in Wears Valley. Wow! What an awesome breakfast! Home cooking at its best! Then we drove to Sevierville because we found a greenway there that we could walk General on, since he had to stay home yesterday. It was a beautiful greenway, and we all very much enjoyed our walk.
June 28th - We got a late start again today. Didn't leave the camper until around 11am. But we decided to leave General at home (and felt extremely guilty about it all day long!), drove to the Welcome Center, and took the trolley into downtown Gatlinburg.
