Wednesday, August 28th -- Our first exploring day in Walnut Grove took us to Nellie's Little Cafe on the Prairie for breakfast. And what an awesome breakfast! Plenty of food, and not expensive at all!
Next would be the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. And what an awesome museum! In addition to having information about Laura herself, one of the buildings in this museum also had a ton of information and memorabilia from the TV series.

Another of the buildings had displays set up about various things from that time period (1870s). Exactly what would the pioneers have hauled across the country in those covered wagons?
And items that would have been for sale in the General Store.
This really was an awesome museum with a ton of information. We really enjoyed it!
