Sunday, November 25, 2019 -- When Ed took General out for his morning walk, he found these tracks in the sand, just a short ways from our trailer!
He Googled it, and found these are Scorpion tracks. This kind of freaked us out, since we didn't know anything about Scorpions! We just decided it was best to keep General away from the sand, as much as possible!
Today, we went to explore the Odessa Meteor Crater, even though we knew the Visitor Center was closed and would not be open at all during our time in this area.

It ended up being a bit of a disappointment, since the crater was over 62,000 years old, and has since naturally filled in with sand and dirt. There really wasn't much to see.
The Visitor Center, no doubt, would have been able to provide much more information about this site!

When we got back home, we decided to walk around the campground, since we were seeing plants we had never seen before. I still have not been able to identify any of these plants, so if you know what they are, please leave a comment below!
