Every once in awhile, I surprise Ed with a 6-pack of locally brewed beer. This selection was Scottish Ale from Fargo Brewing Company. Ed says he really likes it!
Just when we were coming into Fargo, we noticed the winds picking up. And it was windy the whole time we were there. We did learn later that its normal for the northern states, especially this time of year. But on this day, we experienced our first big wind storm. A warning came over the local radio station about a thunderstorm with wind gusts up to 50 mph. We actually didn't think anything of it until the wind actually came and our trailer started rocking like crazy. So, at that point, we Googled it to see how much we could safely sustain, and got the answer of about 53 mph. So, pretty close, but at least now we know what we can take. Anything higher than that, the best suggestion was to move the trailer to the side of a building that was out of the wind. So we learned something new!!
After the storm, I took General back over to the park, trying to get a shot of the dramatic sunset, but I was a little too late.
