It is a fort made by early Hopewell Indians about 3000 years ago. It is propped upon some hills, but graded flat, with raised earthen works around the entire perimeter. Next, we visited the Caesar Creek Pioneer Village, which was a collection of old houses brought to this site from other farms nearby. They are each tagged with their information, so you can see who they belonged to and when they were all built. This Village is only open for special events, so we weren't able to go inside any of the buildings, but very interesting nonetheless.
I went thru this village by myself, while Ed was walking General. And I did a much better job of taking video than pictures. I do apologize.
That evening, we enjoyed a very nice campfire.
