Our last Christmas in our house!

So many conflicting emotions...

I was putting up the lights outside, finding many from last year were burnt out. When I would have normally gone to the store to buy replacement lights, I ended up redoing the decorating plan and using what I had left that worked.

Dear Hubby and I had decided we wouldn't buy each other gifts, since we were both saving money, and trying to downsize. I think that led to us not having the motivation to decorate much inside the house. Our tree stood bare for 2 weeks before we finally put the ornaments on it. But dear Hubby and I ended up buying gifts at the last minute. He bought SD cards for my GoPro, and I bought SD cards for his Nikon camera. One step closer to getting on the road and sharing our adventures with all of you!

We decided to give our daughter most of our Christmas decorations, rather than holding any of them in storage. She will appreciate them. She and her hubby decorate as much for Christmas as we do. We will only keep some ornaments that have sentimental value.
