Sunday, April 26, 2020 -- The weather finally warmed up a little bit in Tonopah, so off we went on our first big Travel Day of 2020! We decided to travel up into Nevada for awhile, because their number of CoVid cases was very low, and we figured it was about the safest place we could be at this time. We got on the road about 9AM!
Just outside of Parker AZ, we drove past this old train trestle bridge! After that, we crossed into California for awhile!
Sometimes the roads are flat, and just seem to go on forever!
And sometimes the roads in the desert follow the natural curve of the land, so you have this! LOL.
We saw some awesome colorful mountains!

These mountains came in layers, one behind the other!
We had to pull off the side of the road so I could pee!
But what an awesome place to stop! The desert scenery was just beautiful!
Passed by this pretty fancy rest area!

We got to Las Vegas shortly after 1PM. Here you can see the newer casinos on Las Vegas Blvd.
We drove an outer loop around the city, and passed by the Fiesta Henderson Hotel and Casino!
Ed and I had been to Las Vegas a few times before, so we had no interest in stopping. Here is another view of the downtown buildings, as we got closer.
And here's the best shot I could get of the older, original downtown casinos!
Well north of Las Vegas, we spotted this fancy hacienda in the middle of a huge ranch!
This mountain must be very tall, since it's just covered in snow!
