Ararat is a very small town, about 10 miles south of Mount Airy, NC. Very well located to the adventures we chose to do in this area. On Thursday, May 16, we moved to Homeplace Park Campground in Ararat. A very nice resort type of campground, with its own waterfall! Both pretty awesome! And we were so blessed! We didn't run into anybody at either of the Falls, and were able to enjoy them on our own. But we did run into several parties making their way TO Hidden Falls, as we were climbing back up the hill. And we had another little surprise when we got to Hidden Falls, but you will have to wait for the video to find out what it was! LOL.
