Reveal of Ed's New Rock Art Project!

Sunday, April 5, 2020 -- Ed has been working so hard on his new rock art project that he totally wore out his gloves! I can't tell you how many bags of rocks he brought back to our campsite for this project! Way too many to count!

After Ed finished his rock art project, he was totally focused on getting some great pictures of Hummingbirds coming to the feeder. I think he got some really great shots!!

Tuesday, April 7, 2020 -- We have been collecting all sorts of rocks during our time in Quartzsite. It's actually something we promised each other we would never do, since we had both watch the Lucille Ball "Long, Long Trailer" movie! LOL. But we just can't help ourselves! We just try to keep them small! LOL. This is only a small sampling. And we have actually sent some to family too!

Wednesday, April 8, 2020 -- Wow! The sky and the mountain got lit up by this sunset! Awesome!!

Friday, April 10, 2020 -- We actually use herbs for all our medicinal needs. Haven't taken a prescription pill in over two years now. If you'd like to learn more about this, I have just started a blog about our experiences with herbs, and you can find that here.

General must have seen something out the dining room window. So focused!!

Saturday, April 11, 2020 -- Another load of laundry done in the kitchen sink. This has actually been working out good for us. Now I can do laundry whenever I have a few minutes, rather than spending the entire day in the laundromat!

Sunday, April 12, 2020 -- Still trying to copy that Obsession Tennis Ball magnet picture! I think this one is pretty close, probably the best we have gotten so far!

Playtime! General loves playing with balloons. He gets so excited, he starts barking!

Monday, April 13, 2020 -- Here is another picture of Ed's first rock art design!

And here it is! Ed's new rock art design! Thirty feet in diameter! I think he did a TOTALLY AWESOME job!!

But now it's time for us to pack up and leave Quartzsite. We had decided to leave a couple of days early, since the dump station could possibly have a very long line if we waited until the last minute.

It was a very sad day. Quartzsite had become our home and safe place, and we were very comfortable there. I cried a couple of times. But we have other stuff to see in God's beautiful country, so onward and upward! Here is a wonderful panoramic shot Ed took of our site.
