Groups and Gatherings in Quartzsite!

Wednesday, January 22, 2020 -- Most RVers have heard of the large groups and gatherings that happen during RV Show week at Quartzsite. So we decided to drive around the La Posa South campground and see what we could find!

Behind our own campsite, the next road back was filling in pretty good. But still plenty of room for more folks!

The Entegra Owners group was situated toward the front of the campground, but a few washes back in. There were probably about 70-80 coaches in this huge circle!

There were plenty of smaller groups with 3-5 RVs situated in a wagon train circle.

But there were also many folks who wanted peace and quiet, and found a spot for themselves tucked away from the rest.

This group was identified to us later as Rainbow RV - the Gay and Lesbian Recreational Vehicle and Camping Club.

We had been driving all over the campground, and didn't know we were driving thru the Nudist Area until we came out the other side and saw this sign! LOL. We were kind of wondering why some of the campers had fences set up around their areas. LOL.

The Bluebird Bus group area is very close to the dump station, and probably even larger than the Entegra Group.

Off topic, but during our drive around the neighborhood, we ran across this fenced in area.

All we could see were two stone circles.

The only sign was to identify this as a historical find, and to keep out. But no information on exacting what this was. So if anyone out there knows, please fill us in. This must be very important, and we would love to know more!
