Exploring Quartzsite Town Park on Christmas Eve!

Tuesday, December 24, 2019 — Quartzsite has a pretty large town park area, with lots of stuff to do! Of course, we love the Dog Park, which has separate fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs!

Near the Dog Park is a large picnic pavilion that can be rented for large gatherings.

There is also a public restroom in this area. Not quite sure how often it is cleaned, but I have been in there once when there was no toilet paper. So you might want to consider bringing your own! LOL.

They also have an RC Race Track! Pretty Cool!

They have a playground for the young ‘uns. Along with Volleyball, Horseshoes, and a Skate Park!

The RC Flying Field gets alot of activity!

There were several days when we were at the Dog Park, when we could look over and see someone practicing with their plane here. And these planes are huge! Most of them have to remove the wings in order to get them in the bed of a pickup truck!

They also have a Disc Golf course!

They even have 2 old Air Force Jets here, in addition to some Ball Fields!

There is also a 1.5 Mile walking trail that follows Plymouth Avenue. Overall, this is a pretty awesome Town Park area and has something for just about anyone!
