Thursday, March 12, 2020 -- Although we had heard about CoVid-19 prior to this day, we didn't realize the extent of the problems it would cause, until we went to town to buy toilet paper (because we actually NEEDED toilet paper), and couldn't find any... anywhere!
While we were walking around the different stores looking for toilet paper, we were listening to the people talking about this virus. They were making it sound like it was the end of the world, and it started to get us pretty upset! But being two rational adults, we decided to do our own research. So we started reading, for several days. Where did it come from? What does it do? How does it spread? What can we do to avoid getting it? And most important, we starting watching the Arizona Health Department map to see if La Paz County, where we were currently living, had any active cases.
At this time, we had no masks. And in additional to the stores being sold out of toilet paper, they also had no hand sanitizer, no hand soap, no disinfecting wipes... nothing! But we did have rubber gloves, so that was our only defense for several days! We were very afraid of getting sick, and very cautious about what we touched when we went into town, and getting everything wiped down when we got back home. In an effort to let us know that everything would be OK, our Lord sent us this wonderful Rainbow!
The colors were so brilliant, almost like the ground was on fire, but in Rainbow colors!
We went into town almost every day, still looking for toilet paper. After a couple of days, we found some disinfecting wipes, and they really helped us establish a procedure for going into town for supplies. It soon became second nature, and some of the intense worry started to fade.
And again, our Lord sent us a wonderful Rainbow to assure us everything would be OK!

Thursday, March 19, 2020 -- Yesterday, Ed's arm got hit by the truck door when the wind tried to blow it shut! Good Lord! His arm swelled up like a balloon, and turned completely black and blue. If there had been a hospital in Quartzsite, we probably would not have taken him there anyway.
So I did my very best to read about his injuries, and the signs of serious problems (he had none), and determined that he probably would be fine in a couple of days. And he was. The swelling was gone in 2 days, but of course the bruising stayed for about a week!
Saturday, March 21, 2020 -- That little voice inside my head told me that I should run into town very early, right when Dollar General was opening, to try to get toilet paper. And we finally did! But if I had arrived just a few minutes later, they would have been sold out again!

Can anybody identify this bug? It's about 1.5 inches long! Is it a good bug, or a bad bug? We found it wandering around just outside our trailer! LOL.
Sunday, March 22, 2020 -- Ed found this awesome rock while he was out collecting White Quartz for his rock art project! Our granddaughter identified this as Churt. Pretty awesome looking rock!
