Monday, January 6, 2020 (continued) -- When we got back from Kofa and told our neighbor, Bob, what we had been up to, he suggested we take a look at the US Map Rock Art that was actually very close to our campsite!
It's a complete map of the United States and some of Canada, made completely from piling stones from the desert!
Here is the Southwest.
The West Coast.

The Northwest and part of Canada!
This Rock Art Map was actually completed by two different groups! The first US portion was done in 2000, and the Canada portion was done in 2008!
The Map is so huge, it's almost impossible to take one picture of the whole thing! When you back away far enough, the slight grade it sits on makes it impossible to see the top section. LOL. But here is a view of what it looks like on Google Maps, along with the GPS coordinates, so you can take a look for yourself whenever you are in the area!

Wednesday, January 8, 2020 -- Another awesome Arizona Desert Sunset! They just keep coming!
Friday, January 10, 2020 -- We had to go to Blythe, California today because we had an appointment to get our truck serviced. The air conditioning had died last week, and since we have a warranty for both our truck and trailer, we figured we might as well get it taken care, before it gets too warm. Blythe is only about 20 miles from Quartzsite, and the drive is actually very nice. Some pretty scenery!
There is a produce check point on the California border, but they waved us right thru. Then we passed a sign that said we are now on Pacific Time! Oooops! We hadn't thought of that part. So I quickly checked my phone to see what time it was! Were we late or early for our appointment? Turns out, we were early! We dropped our truck off at 9am for our 10am appointment, and took off to the park down the street with General!
It was a small park, but very pretty. We took turns walking General around, but couldn't take him off leash to play. There were several other lose stray dogs wandering around, one of which was giving General a hard time. So we cut our visit short, and went back to the service place, and waited in the waiting room. Which out turned out pretty good! General got pets from almost every person that walked by. He was very happy, and we were very comfortable! We ended up spending most of the day there, and didn't get back home until close to 5pm. What a long day!
