Second Rainstorm, Desert in Bloom, and more Rock Art!

Saturday, February 22, 2020 — The second rainstorm was much worse than the first!
Our second rainstorm was much worse than our first in Quartzsite, Arizona
The wash behind our campsite was at least twice as full as during the last rainstorm!
Another rainstorm made a very full wash behind our campsite in Quartzsite, Arizona
But it still did not come anywhere near our trailer. Thank our Lord!

The rain was followed by this very faint Rainbow!

Sunday, February 23, 2020 — The day after the heavy rain, I took General out for a walk around the campground, and got the opportunity to see more Desert Flowers blooming! So many different colors! The Arizona Desert is anything BUT drab and boring!

Also spotted what appears to be a baby cactus. Still haven’t been able to figure out what kind of cactus this is, so if you know, please fill me in! LOL.

Always General continues to improve at listening to our instructions, it is still very hard to keep him out of water…even mud puddles!

Ed has started work on a new, and much larger, Compass Rose! But we won’t show you any more pictures of this until it is completely finished! LOL.

Monday, February 24, 2020 — While walking around the campground, collecting stones for Ed’s Rock Art project, we noticed other folks’ Rock Art! Pretty Awesome!
We found other Rock Art in our campground in Quartzsite, Arizona
Even though we were looking for white Quartz, there is no way we would ever take stones from someone else’s artwork!

More beautiful Desert Flowers! I’m not quite sure where Ed found this one, but it’s amazing! And so tiny!

Tuesday, February 25, 2020 — So… we have a weak spot in our kitchen floor, so Ed decided to get underneath the trailer to see if he could figure out what was going on. Turns out, the underpinning on our trailer has been taken down before, and patched back up. Once again, shame on us for not doing a thorough inspection of the trailer before we bought it.
Looking at our floor, and realizing somebody has already been in here!
But anyway, Ed took the underpinning down and looked around, but couldn’t find anything that may be contributing to our weak floor spot. So we decided to just keep an eye on it for now and see if it gets any worse!
